Registration opens for 2026 In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk

August 10, 2026

Registration is now open for the popular Tidelands Health In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk, returning Saturday, Oct. 10, at Brookgreen Gardens.

Now in its 21st year, In the Pink brings the community together to celebrate breast cancer survivors, honor the memories of those lost to the disease and raise money to support breast health services in the region.

The event is limited to 2,500 participants, and organizers encourage walkers to register early to reserve their spot.

“For more than two decades, In the Pink has united our community around hope, support and a shared commitment to breast health,” said Craig Brackett, MD, board-certified breast surgeon and medical director of the Tidelands Health breast health program. “What began as a small gathering has grown into one of the region’s most meaningful community events, bringing together survivors, families, friends and supporters from across our area. Every year, we’re inspired by the stories, strength and encouragement that fill Brookgreen Gardens on this special day.”

With paid registration, participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and complimentary admission to Brookgreen Gardens for the day.

In addition to a casual walk through the gardens, In the Pink features interactive exhibits, a DJ, commemorative photo opportunities, a breast cancer survivors lounge and inspiring stories from members of the community.

Gates open at 7:15 a.m., and the event begins at 8:30 a.m. Participants may register individually or as part of a team. Register today at tidelandshealth.org.
