Reliant Hospice Seeks Volunteers

August 17, 2009

COLUMBIA, SC – August 17, 2009 – Columbia-based Reliant Hospice is currently seeking volunteers to assist its network of caregivers throughout a 32-county service area. Volunteers do not need medical experience but they still play an integral part on the Reliant Hospice team. Volunteer opportunities range from providing patient companionship and assisting with home improvement projects to running errands and providing patient transportation to doctor visits. Each volunteer receives extensive training by Reliant’s professional staff and must undergo a health screening as well as a complete SLED background check.

Reliant’s family of volunteers include retirees, homemakers, medical professionals, college and high school students as well as members of church, civic and activity groups. If you have time on your hands and would like to make a real difference in the lives of others, Reliant Hospice wants you on our team.
