Renewable Water Resources Recognizes Industries for Compliance Excellency

GREENVILLE, SC – Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) recognized 47 local businesses for their environmental stewardship during its 23rd Annual Compliance Excellency Awards Banquet at the Marriott Hotel in May.

The Compliance Excellency Awards are presented annually to local industries that are in compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulation. Plaques are given to industries with complete compliance for the year, meaning no violations of their permit, and certificates are given to industries with no more than one violation within that year.

“Renewable Water Resources staff wishes to extend deep appreciation to these organizations for assisting in providing a cleaner environment in the Upstate, and making every effort to be compliant with industry requirements” said Joel Jones, pretreatment manager at ReWa.
