Researchers to study COVID-19 impact on SC restaurants

May 21, 2020

Researchers from the College of Charleston’s School of Business and Lander University’s College of Business are currently studying the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on restaurant owners and operators in South Carolina.

The research aims to explore current economic situations and perceptions regarding COVID-19. They also hope to find out if owners are able to maintain their businesses for both the short term and long term under current and future social distancing guidelines and regulations.

Restaurant owners and operators may take the short, 20-question survey before June 15, 2020.

The researchers plan to present their findings in the next 60 days.
