Retirees come home to Richland Two at annual luncheon

More than 250 Richland School District Two retirees will reminisce, catch up with former colleagues and learn what’s new in the district at the annual Retirees Luncheon, to be held Thursday, February 11 at noon at Spring Valley Country Club, 300 Spring Valley Road, 29223.
“Our retirees will always be considered part of the Richland Two family,” said Superintendent Dr. Debbie Hamm. “We want them to know how much we appreciate what they did for our students and our district and we want them to continue to feel connected to where they spent most of their working years.”
For some retirees, it will be their first year to attend, but others have been coming every year since the annual luncheon began in the 1980s.
