RevUp opens Saturday

September 17, 2014

GREENVILLE, SC – To celebrate its arrival onto the Greenville fitness scene, RevUp Indoor Cycling is offering Upstate cyclists trips through breathtaking, challenging terrain – all from the comfort of the new, state-of-the art cycling studio.

RevUp, the Upstate’s only boutique indoor cycling studio, will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 20, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The studio will offer two adventure rides that morning, both instructed by International Master Instructor Scott Schlesinger. The adventure rides include a 90-minute Iditarod race and a 60-minute Storm Surge through the elements. The morning celebration will also feature free food and prizes. Non-riders are welcome to drop in and visit the facility.

People need to sign-up in advance at www.revupcycling.com to take part in the rides

RevUp has been offering classes since August, and offers a unique online registration model. Participants can book spinning sessions in advance online instead of being first-come, first serve like many fitness centers. There are no membership commitments and people can pay for classes as they go.

The studio is located at 2441 Laurens Road. The 3,800 square foot facility features 30 spinning bikes, dressing rooms, showers and a large waiting area for people to cool off post workout.

The spinning studio features 60-inch television screens and the bikes are aligned in a stadium seating style, which means everyone can see the instructor. Each bike includes built-in software that allows users to save data from previous workouts, track workout goals and see how they are competing against other people in the program if they chose. RevUp is the only location between Atlanta and Charlotte to use these unique aspects.
