ReWiGo hires new Program Director

July 2, 2014

GREENVILLE, SC – ReWiGo (Ready, Willing, Go) Ministries has hired Hannah Wickline as its new program director.

Wickline grew up in southern Ohio before finding her way to the Carolinas.  She earned her bachelors of ministry management from a private university in Kentucky.  She has served with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County as an AmeriCorps member and has worked at several camps in the area including YMCA Camp Greenville, Bonclarken Conference Center, and most recently Look Up Lodge.

“ReWiGo is a way to show the community that people are willing to help each other out and improve the lives of those around them.” Wickline said.

About ReWiGo:

For seven years ReWiGo (Ready, Willing, Going) Ministries has served the upstate through their mission of creating safe, healthy, sustainable home environments for elderly, disabled, and impoverished people by serving in Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens Counties of Upstate South Carolina, with the target populations including children, families, and seniors. ReWiGo Ministries focuses only on home repairs and ramp construction. Last year over 1200 phone calls came into ReWiGo Ministries on the 24-hour call line from persons needing assistance. Because ReWiGo Ministries has a volunteer base of 300 plus people, the cost for the ramps and repairs can be kept reasonable. Each ramp averages a cost of $1500 and most home repairs average around $500.
