Reyburn Lominack named partner at Fisher & Phillips

Fisher & Phillips LLP is pleased to announce the election of Reyburn W. Lominack III as a new partner in the firm’s Columbia office. His promotion took effect January 1 and he was among five new partners elected at the national labor and employment law firm.
Lominack, who is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a Specialist in Employment and Labor Law, represents employers of all sizes in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative tribunals. He regularly advises clients on day-to-day employment issues arising under statutes such as Title VII, the FMLA, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, and the NLRA.

Lominack assists employers with traditional labor matters, including union avoidance campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations. He also represents employers in industries such as sales, financial services, and insurance on both the plaintiff and defense side in employee defection matters, including lawsuits involving non-competition, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and state trade secret and unfair trade practice statutes.
He is a contributing editor for The Developing Labor Law and Employment at Will treatises, published by the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law, as well as the South Carolina Employment Law Reference Guide, published by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. He was selected to be one of Greater Columbia Business Monthly’s Legal Elites of the Midlands in 2015.
