Richards McCrae becomes president of S.C. Association of Justice

ROCK HILL, SC – Morton & Gettys partner Richards McCrae is the new president of the South Carolina Association of Justice, the state’s largest association of plaintiff lawyers. He began his year-long term as president following the association’s business meeting on Aug. 6.

SCAJ, with nearly 1,500 members, is dedicated to promoting an open and fair justice system and preserving the right to trial-by-jury.

“This organization is dedicated to the same cause that has guided my professional career – fighting on behalf of individuals against the powerful, wealthy and well-connected,” said Richards. “I am proud to be a member of SCAJ and am honored to serve as the association’s president for the next twelve months.”

Richards is a York County native who joined Morton & Gettys in 2009. His practice with the firm includes personal injury cases and other civil lawsuits.
