Richardson Plowden names Rollins a shareholder

Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A. announced that attorney C. Clifford Rollins has been named a shareholder in the Firm. Rollins joined Richardson Plowden in the Columbia office in 2003.

“Cliff is a hard-working attorney who is dedicated to his practice,” says Frank Smith, managing shareholder at Richardson Plowden. “He is truly an asset to our Firm, and we look forward to his professional growth as a shareholder.”

Rollins focuses his practice on employment law and construction litigation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina (USC) in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from USC School of Law in 1999. Prior to practicing law, Rollins’s worked as a construction worker, an Army officer, and a police officer. This experience has given him an opportunity to represent clients in a variety of matters, including civil, criminal, and administrative matters. He focuses on employment law, crop insurance disputes, and defense of law enforcement in Section 1983 civil rights infringement suits. Prior to joining Richardson Plowden, Rollins was a solo practitioner in his hometown of Saluda, South Carolina. He also served as a specialist D.U.I. prosecutor under a federal grant program, and served with the S.C. Department of Public Safety as deputy general counsel and interim general counsel. Rollins is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association.
