Richardson Plowden welcomes Carmen Ganjehsani

COLUMBIA, SC – Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A. announced that Carmen V. Ganjehsani has rejoined the Firm as Special Counsel in the Columbia office. Ganjehsani will focus her practice on appellate law.

Ganjehsani began her legal career working for Nelson Mullins as an associate attorney in Atlanta. She previously worked for Richardson Plowden practicing general tort and business litigation with an emphasis on civil appellate litigation from 2004 to 2007. She has also worked for an appeals and trial support firm, and she served as an Appellate Defender for the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense, Division of Appellate Defense. Ganjehsani earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2001 where she graduated cum laude and within the top 10 percent of her class. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 1998.

Ganjehsani is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Georgia Bar. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals Fourth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the District of South Carolina. She is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, and is on the Practice and Procedure Committee for the South Carolina Bar.
