Board and Commission Vacancies
COLUMBIA, SC – Richland County Council provides a wide variety of Boards and Commissions that encourages its members to participate in discussions that affect and shape the future of the County. County Council believes it is not only the right, but the responsibility of interested and capable citizens to become engaged in local government policy by advising the Chairman and County Council on important community-related issues. Serving on a Board or Commission is an excellent way to make a personal contribution to Richland County’s growth and can be a rewarding experience for everyone!
Richland County Council is currently accepting applications for the following vacancies:
- Accommodations Tax – Two (2) Vacancies (Applicant must have a background in the Cultural Industry)
- Business Service Center – One (1) Vacancy (Applicant must be a CPA)
- Hospitality Tax – Three (3) Vacancies (2 applicants must be from Restaurant Industry)
- Internal Audit Committee – One (1) Vacancy (Applicant must be a CPA)
- East Richland Public Service Commission – One (1) Vacancy (Must be a resident of Arcadia Lakes)
Appointments may be tentatively made on October 6, 2015
