Richland County employees invite public to ‘Get Involved’ in new video

April 25, 2017

As National County Government Month comes to a close, Richland County wants to remind residents that they can stay involved in local government all year long.

A new video produced by the Public Information Office features County employees from a variety of departments encouraging the public to take an active role in local government through several different facets, such as attending County Council meetings, becoming a community advocate or applying for a position on a board or commission.

During National County Government Month, which is celebrated every April to highlight the many services and programs governments provide, Richland County promoted “10 Ways to Get Involved in Richland County Government” on social media, on RCTV and on large posters displayed at the County Administration Building.
