Richland County issues a Notice to Proceed to contractor for two Transportation Penny Projects

The Richland Penny Program has issued a Notice to Proceed to Armstrong Contractors LLC to begin construction on the Jouster Street Dirt Road Paving Project and the Sidewalk Package S-1 project. Both contracts total approximately $232,000.
Armstrong Contractors LLC will begin the Sidewalk Package S-1 this week. Sidewalk Package S-1 includes installing a 5-foot wide sidewalk on Wildwood Avenue from Monticello Road to Ridgewood Avenue and a 5-foot wide sidewalk along Windover Street from Two Notch Road to Belvedere Drive. The project is estimated to be complete in June 2016.
Construction on the Jouster Street Dirt Road Paving Project is set to begin late March. The Jouster Street project will include paving the existing dirt road from Robin Hood Road to Bowman Avenue. The project is estimated to be complete in May 2016.
