Richland County issues notice to proceed to contractor for more than one hundred resurfacing projects

Several Richland County roadways will receive a facelift now that the Richland Penny Program has issued a Notice to Proceed to Lane Construction to resurface roads listed under the program.
This week Lane Construction will begin work on more than one hundred individual resurfacing projects that the Penny Program packaged together and named Resurfacing Package H. The contract amount for this work is $5.6 million.
Richland County Council approved the contract to Lane Construction at their Council meeting in October. Lane Construction is expected to finish the resurfacing projects in November 2017.
