Richland County offices closed Friday to honor Juneteenth
June 17, 2026Richland County Government offices will close Friday, June 19 to observe Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.
All County Solid Waste & Recycling facilities will also be closed Friday and return to their regular schedules Saturday, June 20. Curbside trash and recycling collection will not be affected and will run as scheduled.
The County’s Jim Hamilton-L.B. Owens Airport terminal and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services will operate on regular hours Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
While government offices are closed, residents can access many services on the County’s website: www.richlandcountysc.gov, including those by the Auditor, Treasurer, Assessor and other offices.
