Richland County Offices to Close Thursday

COLUMBIA, SC – Richland County Offices to Close: With the exception of essential/emergency personnel, Richland County Government offices will close Thursday. County leaders decided to close in support of the City of Columbia’s announcement urging water customers to conserve water.
Some employees still are unable to travel safely to work at the various County facilities. In addition, by not opening to the public, Richland County can aid the water conservation effort.
The County apologizes for any inconvenience closing will present to residents and business owners who need to conduct County business. The public is urged to visit the County website at www.rcgov.uswhere many financial transactions can be completed online.
