Richland County Recreation Commission announces Tennis Center grand reopening

The Richland County Recreation Commission (RCRC) announces the RCRC Tennis Center Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday, September 27 at 10:00 AM at the Richland County Tennis Center, located at 7500 Parklane Road.

A few of the updates for the sustainability of the facility include:

  • 12 Regulation Tennis Courts were resurfaced
  • Striped/restriped all 12 Regulation Courts
  • Gates were widened at the entry and concrete walkways were widened to be ADA compliant
  • Fence poles were repaired and were painted. Fence fabric was replaced on the fencing
  • Bleachers were repaired, painted and caution lines were added where the bleachers are located

In addition to the upgrades and the special dedications, the media and public will also be provided information about the Bench Legacy Initiative, future adult league and youth tournament capabilities, Court Dedications, and the new hitting wall.

“We are thrilled for the re-opening of the tennis center. We are excited to have our community enjoy this state-of-the-art facility with updated features and capabilities,” stated RCRC Interim Executive Director, Tameka Williams.
