Richland County Transportation Program issues lane closure on Bluff Road

The Richland County Transportation Program will close a section of Bluff Road beginning Monday, Feb. 27. Bluff Road will be closed from the intersection of Rosewood Drive to the driveway entrance of the Olympia School. This closure will last 30 days to enable the storm drainage to be constructed as part of the Bluff Road Widening Phase 1 project. A detour of this area is scheduled to enable motorists to utilize an alternate route via Rosewood Drive, Assembly Street and Whaley Street. Local traffic only will be allowed via Bluff Road from Whaley Street to the closure area.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously and obey all traffic control signs as well as utilize the detour route with regard to this closure.
