Richland Library announces expansion of curbside & other services, starting 10/5

October 4, 2020

Richland Library is announcing the expansion of services with minimal contact.

Starting Monday, October 5, there are more options for curbside service. Upon receiving notification, customers can access their holds 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 – 6 p.m. at our Blythewood, Cooper, Eastover, Edgewood, Lower Richland, Main, North Main and Wheatley locations.

In addition, printing is now available at all 13 of our library locations. Customers can upload their documents online at richlandlibrary.com/printing. Then, during their next visit, customers notify our staff at the pick-up window or during curbside service, and we bring out their printed items to a designated parking spot.

Lastly, outdoor seating is extending to our Cooper, Eastover, Edgewood, North Main and Sandhills locations. Customers can connect their electronic devices to the library’s public Wi-Fi. We do ask they wear face coverings in these spaces and practice safe social distancing.

A reminder, all library buildings remain closed in the interest of public safety. Our Ballentine, Northeast, Sandhills, Southeast and St. Andrews locations continue to offer services at the pick-up windows or curbside. The latest updates, regarding operations, are available over the phone, on our website and through our social media channels.
