Richland Library dedicates phone line for storytelling

July 2, 2020

With a goal to support learning, creating and sharing over the summer, Richland Library has a new option for families to add to their reading repertoire. We are offering stories over the phone.

To connect, follow these three simple steps:

-Pick up the phone
-Call 803-799-9084
-Press “six” on the keypad

Then relax and enjoy as a member of our staff shares one of their favorite folktales or fairy tales. This week’s feature is “Two of Everything,” a Chinese folktale.

Check back regularly to hear new stories. The library is updating the phone line every other week.

The service is another way the library is trying to reach our customers who may not have high-speed Internet or broadband access.

For questions, please contact Emily Stoll at 803-587-3637 or email [email protected].
