Richland Library’s annual Pigskin Poets moves online

September 16, 2020

Are you ready for some football? Richland Library is teaming with the Gamecocks for Pigskin Poets from 10:30 – 11 a.m., Saturday, September 19 on our Facebook Page. Marking its 24th year, the beloved annual program, which is free and open to the public, is moving online.

Put on your garnet and black gear. Then get ready to cheer and hear from student athletes on the University of South Carolina’s football team as they share stories.

Pigskin Poets, led by local storyteller Darion McCloud, supports childhood literacy and reinforces the importance of setting and reaching goals.
