Richland One Announces New Principals, Assignments for 2015-2016 School Year

COLUMBIA, SC – Richland One announces the following principal appointments and new assignments for the 2015-2016 school year:

• Kelvin Lemon, former principal at Marlboro County High School in the Marlboro County School District, is the new principal at Lower Richland High School.

• Veronica Scott, a former assistant principal at W.J. Keenan High School, has been named the acting principal at C.A. Johnson High School.

• Nate White, former principal at C.A. Johnson High School, is the new principal Olympia Learning Center, where he also previously served as principal.

• Sarah Smith, former principal at Heyward Gibbes Middle School, is the new principal at Burton-Pack Elementary School.

• Ericka Hursey, former coordinator at Olympia Learning Center and a former assistant principal at Heyward Gibbes Middle School, is the new principal at Gibbes.

• Jody Davidson, a former assistant principal at Hand Middle School, has been named the acting principal at Hand.

In three previously announced principal appointments for 2015-2016:

• Tiffany Brooks, former principal at Palm Bay Elementary School in Palm Bay, Florida, is the new principal at Webber Elementary School.

• Derrick Glover, former principal at Spaulding Middle School in Darlington County, is the new principal at St. Andrews Middle School.

• Christopher Richards, a former assistant principal at Claude A. Taylor Elementary School in Lexington Two, is the new principal at Logan Elementary School.
