Richland one announces new principals, assignments for 2016-2017 school year

New principals will greet students, faculty and staff at several Richland One schools when the 2016-2017 school year begins in August.

Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon announces the following principal appointments and assignments:

• Dr. Lindell Brabham, former principal at Midway Elementary School in Kershaw County, will be the principal at Hyatt Park Elementary School.

• Samantha Carlisle, former principal at Flat Shoals Elementary School in the Rockdale County (Georgia) Public Schools, will be the principal at South Kilbourne Elementary School.

• Dr. Robin Coletrain, an assistant principal at Hand Middle School, has been named the acting principal at W.A. Perry Middle School.

• Inger Ferguson, principal at Pine Grove Elementary School, will be the principal at Southeast Middle School.

• Brian Goins, an assistant principal at Muller Road Middle School in Richland Two, will be the principal at Hand Middle School.

• Shawn Hall, an assistant principal at Caughman Road Elementary School, has been named the acting principal at Caughman Road.

• Dr. Linda Norton, principal at South Kilbourne Elementary School, will be the principal at Watkins-Nance Elementary School.

• Rose Pelzer, principal at Lake Marion High School and Technology Center in Orangeburg Three, will be the principal at Lower Richland High School.

• Dr. Tracy Pickett, an assistant principal at Pine Grove Elementary School, has been named the acting principal at Pine Grove.

• Dr. Teresa Turner, principal at Caughman Road Elementary School, will be the principal at Carver-Lyon Elementary School.

• Neshunda Walters, principal at Manning High School in Clarendon Two, will be the principal at Eau Claire High School.
