Bob Grant, Richland One’s chief operations officer, has been named the 2026-2027 South Carolina District-Level Administrator of the Year by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA).

The award recognizes an associate or assistant superintendent, a director, coordinator or other professional personnel at the district level who is involved with regional or state SCASA educational issues and has made an impact on improving their school district.
“I am honored and humbled to be recognized by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators and my peers with this award, reflecting my 10 years of service at the district level. It truly is a testament to the leaders and teams that I get to work with every day and the work we do to support students, teachers and schools,” said Grant.
Grant will be recognized during SCASA’s 2026 Innovative Ideas Institute in Myrtle Beach in June.
