Richland One offers Golden Passes to senior citizens

Richland One offers a complimentary Golden Activity Pass to district retirees and to senior citizens ages 60 and older who live in the Richland County School District One attendance zone.

The Golden Activity Pass admits seniors free to all district-sponsored athletic events held at Richland One schools or athletics fields, except Sportsarama, playoff games and tournaments. With their passes, senior citizens can also purchase a delicious and nutritious lunch at any district school for the current adult meal price of $3.75.

Seniors may pick up a Golden Activity Pass from the Richland One Office of Communications, located on the second floor of the Stevenson Administration Building at 1616 Richland Street. Passes will be issued on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week from 10 a. m. – noon and 2 – 4 p. m. If these times are inconvenient, seniors may schedule an appointment for a different time.

In order to obtain the pass, seniors must show a valid driver’s license or a South Carolina Identification Card as proof of residence within the boundaries of Richland One. Golden Activities Passes are not issued to current district employees who are age 60 and older.
