Robert Goble Elected to the International Corrections and Prisons Association Board of Directors

COLUMBIA, SC – January 7, 2008 – Robert (Bob) Goble, Principal of Carter Goble Lee, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina, was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA), at the 9th Annual General Meeting and Conference, held in Bangkok, Thailand. His term runs through 2011.

The multi-national Board of Directors and membership from over 80 countries encompass all areas of the criminal justice system. The ICPA provides leadership and vision in the area of corrections and criminal justice to improve global understanding and professionalism.  More than 325 representatives from 50 countries attended the 2007 conference.  The 2008 Annual Conference will be held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Goble has been with CGL since its founding.  His project responsibilities have included local, county, state, regional, Federal and international government agencies, and private sector clients with a primary emphasis in the criminal justice field.  Goble holds a Bachelors Degree in Space Planning and Design, and a Masters in Urban Planning.
