Robinson Gray has named attorney Vordman Carlisle Traywick, III a Member of the law firm.
He was voted into the position at the end of 2022.

He amplifies that with his pro bono work and his other professional and community service.”
Lisle’s appellate and litigation practice focuses on representing governmental entities and public officials in complex civil disputes, litigating constitutional and election-related issues, advising and representing utilities in regulatory proceedings, and defending professional negligence claims. He also enjoys teaching Election Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
In addition, Lisle serves in leadership roles in numerous professional organizations. He is on the advisory board of the Center on Professionalism and is secretary of the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The Supreme Court of South Carolina recently appointed him to the Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. Further, the Court has twice recognized him for his commitment to pro bono service.
A Columbia native, Lisle graduated cum laude from Wofford College and then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review.
Before joining Robinson Gray, Lisle clerked for the Honorable H. Bruce Williams at the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the Honorable David C. Norton at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
He is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Columbia.
