Proceeds to help house families of children being treated at medical facilities in Columbia
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is hosting its second annual RMHC Gala on Thursday, March 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event will include a silent & live auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, live music and the opportunity to make a positive impact.
“Last year we were able to raise more than 60,000 dollars to support the families who come to us seeking shelter and care during some of the most difficult times of their lives,” said Meghan McMenamy, RMHC Marketing and Development Manager. “It is so amazing to see people come together during events like these and help support families in need in our community.”
The funds raised during the Gala will allow RMHC to continue providing guest families with the comfort of a home so they can focus on what matters most, their child’s health. Serving families in Columbia for 37 years — the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia recently expanded to include 16 private fully furnished bedrooms and bathrooms to help continue its mission of keeping families close during treatment.
Tickets are $125 and you must be 21 years or older to attend. Tickets are available for purchase on the RMHC website or on their Facebook page.
Attire is black tie optional and the event will be held at The Hall at Senate’s End.
