Ronald McDonald House Charities appoints 3 new Board Members

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Carolinas announced the appointment of Dr. Nicole Cothran, Brooks Whittington, and Victoria Carmen to the Board of Directors. Dr. Cothran practices Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Prisma Children’s Hospital, Brooks Whittington is the Owner/Operator of five McDonalds restaurants across South Carolina, and Victoria Carmen is a News Anchor for Fox Carolina.

“We feel extremely lucky to have individuals from our community who want to advocate as Board Members in our mission of keeping families close and connected to family centered care.” said Marti Spencer, CEO/Executive Director of RMHC of the Carolinas.

Distinguished individuals from the medical, business, academic, and philanthropic communities of the Upstate make up the Board of Directors. The Board plays a vital role in providing counsel and guidance to the direction and operation of the Ronald McDonald House, as well as raising awareness of the House’s services to the surrounding communities.
