Rosen Hagood attorney Elizabeth Nicholson joins advisory board of Yo Art
October 6, 2021Rosen Hagood is pleased to announce that attorney Elizabeth Nicholson has joined the board of Yo Art.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve on the board of Yo Art,” said Elizabeth Nicholson. “The work Yo Art is doing to bring technology-based arts to local schools is innovative and impressive, and I am excited about getting involved in such a giving organization.”
Yo Art started as a summer after-school art program in 2007 with 35 students at Sanders-Clyde Elementary. Today, they’ve taught in over 25 schools in Charleston and Berkeley County and are teaching close to 1000 students annually. With an enduring presence in Charleston, Yo Art projects encourage learning through discovery, discipline, improvisation, and technique and provide a fertile ground for creative thought through coding, photography, filmmaking, and design.
As an attorney with Rosen Hagood, Nicholson practices in the areas of personal injury, employment, real estate litigation, and construction law and litigation. Prior to joining Rosen Hagood, Elizabeth served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable R. Lawton McIntosh, Tenth Judicial Circuit.
