April 29, 2022

Eight attorneys from the Charleston-based law firm of Rosen Hagood have been named to either the 2022 South Carolina Super Lawyers list or the 2022 South Carolina Rising Stars list, the firm announced today. Both lists are extremely competitive with no more than five percent of the attorneys from a state designated as Super Lawyers, and only 2.5% as Rising Stars.

Rosen Hagood’s 2022 Super Lawyers:
• Daniel “Frank” Blanchard – Estate & Trust Litigation
• James “Chip” Bruorton – Construction Litigation
• Alex Cash – Family Law
• Andrew Gowdown – PI General, Plaintiff
• Brewton Hagood – Construction Litigation
• Alice Paylor – Business Litigation

Rosen Hagood’s 2022 Rising Stars:
• Bijan Ghom – Business Litigation
• Elizabeth Nicholson – General Litigation

“It’s an honor to have our attorneys selected for this recognition. For over seventy-five years, Rosen Hagood has provided exceptional legal counsel and representation to businesses and individuals both in Charleston and across the state,” said Andrew Gowdown, co-managing partner of the firm. “Being recognized by our peers for professionalism, judgment, and the ability to provide top-notch client service is very gratifying.”

Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, both part of Thomson Reuters, are rating services of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
