rūmbo advertising agency expands services and team in Charleston

rūmbo, veteran-owned advertising agency based in Tampa, FL, announced they have hired Taylor Ion to join co-owner Mike Compton in their satellite office in Charleston as the agency experiences growth and expands to serve South Carolina.

Compton adds, “I met Taylor back in 2020 through the Charleston American Marketing Association. I was blown away with her creative execution, leadership skills and passion for her craft. I am very excited and proud to have her on our rūmbo team.”

Ion, who previously worked at Trio Solutions Inc. (TRIO) in Mount Pleasant since 2018, joins the rūmbo team as junior art director to contribute her graphic design, client services and nonprofit marketing expertise.

“Since the acquisition of Three Chairs Productions, we have devoted many resources to growing our presence in the Carolinas. This year we will also be introducing a brand refresh and unveiling new opportunities taking shape further up the east coast”, says co-owner, George Zwierko.

Previously from Chicago working the B2B advertising and nonprofit space, Ion brings over a decade of marketing, advertising and graphic design experience. She currently serves as director of marketing on the Charleston American Marketing Association board of directors leading the team in expanding their community to the growing marketing population in the area.
