Run for a Reason: Registration open for 14th Annual Bridge 2 Bridge Run
October 28, 2026
Organizers of the Bridge 2 Bridge Run have announced that registration is currently open for the upcoming annual road race, with discounted rates available through Oct. 31.
The event, which features a 5K, 12K, Half Marathon, and Kids Fun Run, is set to take place Saturday, March 13, 2027, in historic Georgetown.
Designed for runners of all skill levels as well as families, the Bridge 2 Bridge Run highlights scenic coastal views across the historic community. Race organizers encourage participants to sign up early before registration fees increase following the end-of-month deadline.
In addition to promoting health and community fitness, the annual event supports local basic needs. All race proceeds directly benefit The Friendship Place, a Georgetown-based nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals in need by providing essential resources, meal programs, and path-to-independence services across the community.
Registration and additional race details are available online at BRIDGE2BRIDGERUN.COM.
