Sadler Hughes Apothecary “Notable Non-Profit” Voting Now Open

December 5, 2022

Sadler Hughes Apothecary has the spirit – the spirit of giving!

Now in its fourth year, Sadler Hughes Apothecary in Clinton is asking the community to help them select a “Notable Non-Profit.” The community based process provides some extra funding to a local organization during the Christmas season. Previous winners include Hospice of Laurens County, Laurens County Safe Home and Laurens County Cancer Association.

“Sadler Hughes Apothecary does this as a company because we are not in a community but a part of a community,” said Walter Hughes III. “We see the needs that these wonderful organizations provide relief for and we are proud to support them in their mission.”

So how does it work?

Members of the community are encouraged to come in the store and complete a ballot.  Simply select a charity in the list and drop it in the box. During the week of Christmas, the votes will be tallied and a winner announced. The winning nonprofit will receive a percentage of revenue generated on a designated day during the month of December.

Below is a photo of the ballot. Be sure to stop by and vote for your favorite local non-profit.
