Sadler Hughes Apothecary Prepares for Relocation to Expansive New Building

November 16, 2020

Sadler Hughes Apothecary has been serving the community for 103 years but in just a few weeks they will be doing so from a new location. In their history of service to Clinton the pharmacy has been in five different locations including its current location of 216 South Broad Street where the store moved to in 1969.

Just drive through Clinton and you will see that there are changes coming. The building at the new location, 102 Jacobs Highway, is close to being completed.  The new space will accommodate a 5,400 square foot facility compared to the current location with a footprint of only 2,400 square feet.

The new location will have 2 drive through windows, easy access parking lot, a classroom for educational sessions, 2 clinical rooms for counseling and vaccinations, and an expanded retail space to accommodate new lines of product.  The pharmacy will also have an expanded medical equipment line and locally produced products.

The expansive building is in the final stages of buildout, the signage is up and the parking lot is soon to be paved. The goal is to be open and operational by mid-December.

Stay tuned.
