SAFE Home Walk/Run Set for March 1 to Benefit Local Domestic Violence Victims
February 4, 2025Community members and businesses are encouraged to lace up their sneakers and join the SAFE Home Walk/Run on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The event will take place at Crossfit 864, located at 207 W. Pitts Street in Clinton, with the walk/run kicking off at 9 a.m.
Organized to support local domestic violence victims, the SAFE Home Walk/Run provides an opportunity for individuals, groups, and businesses to make a difference while promoting health and wellness. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the vital programs and services offered by SAFE Home, which provides resources, advocacy, and shelter to those affected by domestic violence.
Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate as groups, demonstrating their commitment to this important cause. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, allowing local businesses to make an even greater impact in the fight against domestic violence.
“This event is about more than raising funds—it’s about showing survivors that they are not alone and that our community stands with them,” said Dawn Ardelt, Executive Director of SAFE Home. “Every step taken during the walk/run represents hope and support for those on their journey to safety and healing.”
Participants can register easily by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by visiting www.thesafehome.org. For more information, contact SAFE Home at (864) 682-7270.
