SAFE Home Walk/Run This Saturday to Support Local Domestic Violence Survivors

February 25, 2025

This Saturday, March 1, the SAFE Home Walk/Run will take place at CrossFit 864 in Clinton at 9 a.m., bringing the community together to support survivors of domestic violence in Laurens County.

SAFE Home provides critical services, shelter, and advocacy for individuals escaping abusive situations, and all proceeds from the event will directly benefit these programs.

Domestic violence continues to impact families in our community, and this event is a powerful way to show survivors they are not alone. Whether you walk, run, or simply come out to support, your presence makes a difference.

“This event isn’t just about raising funds—it’s about showing survivors that they have a community that stands with them,” said Dawn Ardelt, Executive Director of SAFE Home. “Every participant and every dollar raised helps provide safety, resources, and hope.”

How to Get Involved:

  • Sign up today by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or visiting www.thesafehome.org.
  • Businesses, churches, and groups are encouraged to participate together to show their commitment to this cause.
  • Sponsorship opportunities are still available for those who want to make a greater impact.

Let’s come together to make a difference. Join us this Saturday at CrossFit 864 in Clinton to take a stand against domestic violence and support those working toward a safer future.
