SAFE Sponsors Free Community Shred Day

To Collect Donations for Harvest Hope Food Bank

COLUMBIA, SC – October 9, 2012 – On Wednesday, October 10 SAFE Federal Credit Union is sponsoring a FREE Shred Day for credit union members and community residents. The free Shred Day will be held at SAFE’s Branch at 7836 Garner’s Ferry Road from 3:00 am until 6:00 pm. During the Shred event, SAFE will accept monetary donations and non-perishable food items on behalf of Harvest Hope Food Bank.
 
Representatives of Harvest Hope will be on hand to discuss current Midlands hunger statistics and the importance of valuable community partnerships with businesses like SAFE Federal Credit Union.
 
Shredding will be provided by Carolina Records and Information Management.
