Trey Martin, CRPS®, AIF®, WMS, and Kristiaan de Roos, WMS, of Sage Capital Wealth Management of Raymond James, were among the advisors named to the 2023 Forbes list of Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams. The list, which recognizes top-performing teams, was released online on January 12, 2023.

Trey Martin, Managing Director & Senior Vice President, and Kristiaan de Roos, Financial Advisor, have over 50 years of combined industry experience. In 2015 the two formed Sage Capital Wealth Management to apply their collective insights and capabilities to better solve the complex financial needs of their clients. Over the last 8 years the wealth management team has expanded, with Samuel J. Galloway, Jr., AIF®, First Vice President, Investments, and Chris J. Bolle, Senior Vice President, Investments, joining Sage Capital, bringing over 80 years of combined experience serving their clients.

Sage Capital Wealth Management works closely with high-net-worth clients and families to help assess, prioritize, and meet the financial goals they set for themselves. The client-centric approach places tremendous emphasis on creating holistic roadmaps that often span retirement and estate planning strategies, business succession, education funding and philanthropy markets. Mr. Martin and Mr. de Roos maintain offices at 112 Haywood Rd in Greenville, SC and 349 East Main Street, Suite 201 in Spartanburg, SC. They can be reached at 864.289.2100 or by visiting The Sage Capital Wealth Management website at mysagewealth.com

“This achievement is a credit to the entire Sage Capital team and spotlights the continued trust they’ve earned from their clients,” says Brian Flemmer, Complex Manager. “Trey and Kristiaan could not have earned this honor without the dedication and hard work of their Client Service Associates, Erin Burns, Leah Damelines, Kathy Talley, and Ryan Markham.”

About Forbes Top Wealth Management Teams Best-in-State

The 2023 Forbes ranking of America’s Top Wealth Management Teams Best-In-State, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 4/1/2021 to 3/31/2022 and was released on 01/12/2023. Advisor teams that are considered must have one advisor with a minimum of seven years of experience, have been in existence as a team for at least one year, have at least 5 team members, and have been nominated by their firm. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 8,000 team nominations, 2,860 advisor teams received the award based on thresholds. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor’s future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients’ experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its Financial Advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.
