Pickin’ & Piggin’ BBQ Cookoff — A Feast for Your Taste Buds!

Get ready for a mouthwatering day at the Pickin’ & Piggin’ BBQ Cookoff! Taste BBQ from over 20 top-notch barbecue cookers, each competing to bring you the best flavors off the grill. Enjoy live music by the Water Kickers as you savor the smoky goodness of expertly prepared meats. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase—IDs required for alcohol purchases. Tickets can be purchased online at icrc.net or at the event. Backyard Saturday is all about sparking curiosity, connecting with nature, and having fun together as a family. Whether your little one is a budding adventurer or just starting to explore the wonders of nature, there’s something for everyone.
Each event is designed for children up to age seven (7) and their families, offering a fun-filled day of discovery in the great outdoors. We’ll explore a different aspect of nature every month through engaging activities, crafts, biofacts, and stories that bring the natural world to life.
Backyard Saturday is offered the first Saturday of the month from March through October at Saluda Shoals Park. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on these special days of learning! This event is perfect for kids who are curious about wildlife and love to explore the great outdoors. $5/parking fee
Paddle & Pint – Paddle, Sip, and Relax!
