March 3, 2017

Daybreak Ministries announced that Sarah Baxter MSN, RNC, has joined Daybreak Ministries as Nurse Manager. In her new role, Baxter will play a critical part in expanding the medical services available at Daybreak, as well as raising the standard in all of the services that Daybreak’s Pregnancy Medical Clinic offers.

“This is a very important position as we look to expand the services Daybreak offers in order to equip young women and men with the information they need to make real choices,” Daybreak Ministries Executive Director Brennan Aschleman says.

Prior to joining the Daybreak team, Baxter served as Director of Women’s Services at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.

“Being able to help shape a program like Daybreak with services and opportunities that will
empower women and men facing pregnancy-related concerns is a dream come true,” Baxter says.

It’s an exciting time of growth for Daybreak Ministries as the non-profit recently opened it’s new pregnancy medical clinic at 1601 St. Julian Place in Columbia’s Middleburg Plaza.

Daybreak offers pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling, post-abortion support, case management, parenting and life-skills classes, baby/maternity supplies and other practical help free of charge. All of the pregnancy medical clinic’s services are meant to empower women and men facing pregnancy-related concerns.

“Daybreak Ministries will continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to serve our clients with excellence and integrity,” Aschleman says.
