October is Cyber Security Awareness Month and the Greenville Area Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting a seminar to help small business owners prepare.
The event will feature a panel discussion from some of the region’s leading experts on cyber attacks including from the U.S. Military, Burr Forman McNair, Immedion, ASBDC Insure360, and real-world client cyberattack experiences.

“Most small businesses don’t think they are a target for hackers but they are. Entrepreneurs normally don’t consider how damaging a cyber attack could be on their operations either,” said Earl Gregorich, area manager for the SBDC. “It literally could rob them of the value they have worked so hard to build in their business.”
