SC Hispanic Chamber and Greater Greer Chamber Partner to Bring Entrepreneur Empowerment Series to Greer

September 22, 2014

GREER, SC – In an effort to more directly reach Hispanic business owners, the Greater Greer Chamber has partnered with the SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The partnership will provide a platform in Greer for the SCHCC’s Entrepreneur Empowerment Series, a sequence of free workshops designed to help small business owners through the many technical challenges of starting a business. Planning, organizing, financing, marketing and managing a business are just some of the practical topics covered over the course of a weekend.

“We are very excited and thrilled to work closely with the Greater Greer Chamber, a business sector that is growing so much and contributing to the South Carolina economy,” said Evelyn Lugo, SCHCC President. “As we embark on this partnership, we are strengthening and solidifying a relationship that is about three years old. The EES will add value to both Chambers and bring a much-needed service to our Hispanic business owners and entrepreneurs in the great city of Greer!”

The Greater Greer Chamber will provide the location and share the promotion for these workshops. “We are proud to partner with the SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on this great offering for business,” Mark Owens, Greater Greer Chamber President said.
