SC Pediatric Alliance announces Shannon Godby as new Director of HR

The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA), one of the Midlands’ largest pediatric healthcare networks, announced the appointment of Shannon Godby as Director of Human Resources.
Godby will officially join the organization on July 6, 2026. She brings more than 25 years of Human Resources leadership experience, including extensive experience within healthcare organizations. Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for building strong teams, fostering positive workplace cultures, supporting employee development, and helping organizations achieve their strategic goals. Her expertise spans talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, organizational development, and strategic human resources leadership.

In her new role, Godby will lead SCPA’s human resources strategy and initiatives, supporting the organization’s continued growth while enhancing the employee experience across all locations. As she begins her tenure, Godby plans to visit each SCPA clinic and department to meet team members, learn more about their roles, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and values that make the organization unique. She looks forward to building relationships, listening to employees, and partnering with staff across the organization to support SCPA’s mission and future success.
