CHARLESTON, SC — The SC Small Business Development Centers (SC SBDC) recently honored the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA) with the Partner of Distinction Award. This award is in appreciation of exceptional understanding and support of the mission, capabilities and economic impact of the South Carolina Small Business Development Centers.

In a ceremony at the annual SC SBDC awards dinner state director Michele Abraham said, “This award is presented to an organization that understands our values, capabilities and economic impact and actively supports our mission. The Charleston Defense Contractors Association is an esteemed partner in our quest to connect clients with defense contracting opportunities in the Lowcountry and help grow the overall economy of our state.”

President of the CDCA, Mark Gadomski and small business chair of the CDCA board, Brian Lindgren, were at the ceremony to receive the award. The CDCA works closely with SC SBDC consultants to provide information, teaming opportunities and mentoring to small businesses pursuing federal contracting. The CDCA helps promote the SC SBDC network through client referrals, as well as events and conferences.
