SC Telco Federal Credit Union Presents $10,000 Contribution to Salvation Army

GREENVILLE, SC – SC Telco Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $10,000.00 to Major Kent Davis and The Salvation Army as part of the rapidly-growing credit union’s community support initiatives.

The funds were collected from SC Telco members and employees, and will be used to upgrade the Kitchen area at the Women’s and Children’s Shelter at 417 Rutherford Street in Greenville. SC Telco employees and their family members will provide additional support by doing some of the upgrade work themselves. Once the work is completed, the space will be named in honor of SC Telco Federal Credit Union.

SC Telco, whose footprint spans the Upstate, Pee Dee and Midlands of South Carolina, was recently ranked #4 overall among South Carolina’s Best Places to Work 2014 among companies with fewer than 250 employees.
