Scarafile named to Honorary Commanders Program

Vito A. Scarafile, Corporate and Community Relations Director for Carolina One Real Estate Services, has been named to the Joint Base Charleston 2016 Honorary Commanders Program.
The Joint Base Charleston Honorary Commanders Program was developed to encourage an exchange of ideas, experiences and friendship between key members of the local civilian community and the Charleston military community. The program provides a unique opportunity for members of the Charleston area to shadow commanders of wing, group and tenant units at Joint Base Charleston Air Base and the Weapons Station.
A 35 year veteran of the promotional advertising business in Charleston, Scarafile sold his company, Lee Wayne Carolina, in 2008. At Carolina One Scarafile’s duties include public relations, internal and external communications and the coordination of the company’s volunteer efforts.
A 1965 graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, Scarafile is a resident of Mt. Pleasant and has four children and six grandchildren. His interests and hobbies include golf, fishing, reading, cooking and USC Gamecock football and baseball.
