SCHB Self Insurers Fund announces Weston R. Griffeth as Administrator

SCHB Self Insurers Fund (SCHBSIF), a provider of stable, cost-effective workers’ compensation coverage for the construction industry, today announced that Weston R. Griffeth has been named Administrator. Herb Witter, SCHBSIF’s Chairman of the Board, stated Mr. Griffeth’s employment will commence July 1.

Griffeth has more than 15 years of senior management experience, serving most recently as Chief Business Officer of Breckpoint, Inc., a leading administrator of self-insured group workers compensation and its healthcare product, Freedomcare. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Safety Operations and Senior Vice President of Risk Management, where Griffeth managed day-to-day OSHA compliance operations and developed training programs to raise safety awareness.

“Weston is the ideal leader for SCHB Self Insurers Fund,” said Herb Witter. Weston’s extensive management experience in day-to-day operations, risk management, safety and compliance awareness will strengthen SCHBSIF, member insurance agencies and policyholders.”

Griffeth received a B.A. in Spanish with a Minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University, graduating in 2005. He is fluent in Spanish, an Eagle Scout recipient, and was a scholar-athlete in high school. Griffeth is married and he and his wife have three children, ages 12, 10, and 6.
