Scott and Company announces manager promotion

Scott and Company LLC, is pleased to announce that Chelsea Shoolbred, CPA has been promoted to the role of manager in assurance and advisory services.

In assuming her new duties as manager in the firm’s Greenville office, Ms. Shoolbred will be responsible for leading all aspects of audit, attestation and consulting engagements, training and developing associates and managing client relations through timely communication and ensuring stated engagement objectives are met. In addition to these core day-to-day tasks, Ms. Shoolbred will be responsible for developing and expanding client relationships and fostering non-client relationships to assist in achieving the firm’s long-term business goals.
Shoolbred works extensively with clients in the real estate, hospitality, non-profit and state/local government arenas. She also works with a broad range of closely-held businesses.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate, Shoolbred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She also earned a Master of Public Accountancy degree from Clemson University. Originally from Anderson, South Carolina, Shoolbred joined Scott and Company in 2012. She is currently a licensed CPA in South Carolina, and maintains active memberships in the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
